Candy Corn Popcorn Box. Make this adorable candy corn popcorn box and treat for your next Halloween get together.
Today I have a fun post for you. This is the third year for the Popcorn Box Blog Hop, hosted by Laura Kelly Designs. Last year was my first year participating and I made a cute washi tape pumpkin popcorn box.
There are no rules, except to make something fun and Halloween themed with our popcorn box we are sent.
The minute I opened my package of goodies, I knew exactly what I wanted to make. The felt (from Kunin Group) screamed “candy corn” to me!

How to Make a Candy Corn Popcorn Box
Supplies:
- Popcorn Box
- Kunin Felt – White, Orange, and Yellow
- White Cardstock
- Aleene’s Fast Grab Tacky Glue
- Glue Gun
- Ribbon
To start with I wanted a blank slate for my popcorn box, so I traced each side onto white card stock, cut it out and glued it on to the popcorn box. You could also paint the box white with acrylic craft paint.
After I had a nice white canvas to add decoration to, I cut out a triangle shape out of leftover card stock. I made sure it would fit well on my box.
Then, I cut strips of the orange, yellow, and white felt and lined them up. I used my template to trace the triangle shape on to the felt.
Cut out each piece of felt. I glued them onto the box with my hot glue gun.
I felt like it was missing something so I grabbed a little of the polka dot orange and yellow ribbon, tied a bow and hot glued it onto the candy corn shape.
To make the popcorn, I simply popped a bag of microwave popcorn and stirred in some candy corn pieces. Now, I have a fun and cute treat to share!
