Final week of Task Management Tuesday — join me as I review eight weeks of creating order, crafting routines, and improving time management. Get inspired, start your own journey!
This post is part of the Task Management Tuesday series. Welcome to Week 8.
This is the final week of this series. I have taken some baby steps to create more order in my life and become as stress-free as possible.
The following is an overview of the eight weeks, along with my assessment of how they went.

Task Management Tuesday Overview
- Week 1: Purpose of Task Management Tuesday – to create some calm in my life by getting routines up and some order back into my life.
- Week 2: The top 10 things I do daily to keep my household (and life) running smoothly.
- Week 3: I set up morning and evening routines and a weekly and monthly list of “to-dos.” I also showed what my kids’ schedule looks like.
- Week 4: I created printables for my home management binder, which I am sharing with you.
- Week 5: I’m adding more printables from my home management binder. This time, a little prettier. Pretty things make me happy, which in turn helps me accomplish more tasks.
- Week 6: Kitchen organization tips.
- Week 7: I regrouped because I still felt like I was floundering around with my time management skills.
We are now in week 8. My house is more organized and cleaner. I still have those days where I can’t seem to pull it together, and my house looks like a bomb went off, but they are fewer and farther between.
Last week, I made an effort to improve my time management. I am doing much better. I am trying to stick to my schedule and my kid’s schedule. This does not mean things do not come up, but I am more focused.
Planner Organization
I got a new planner that I have divided into eight sections for each day. This gives me one main thing to focus on in each area.

In no particular order, the categories are:
- Appointments
- Exercise
- Household
- Blog
- Computer work (I help out my dad with this)
- Kids
- Dinner/meal plan
- Extra – anything that doesn’t fit into the above categories
This is not to say I don’t do other things throughout the day in each category, but if I can check off the big ones, I feel like the day is a success.
Overall, this series has helped me regain focus and order, which I desperately needed. Thank you for taking this little journey with me!
