When my son was little, I was part of a local MOMS Club. We had a splash day for the kids where they could play in the pool and other different water activities. It was so fun to see all the little ones in the pool together!
I kept with the theme of water and choose a turquoise blue cardstock background paper. I double matted the main photo of my son with the same blue paper and also, white. The other photo I single matted with white cardstock. The writing on the page is with a white gel pen.
I found the ‘Splish in’ & a Splash in’ sticker at a local scrapbook store. I matted the sticker on white cardstock and cut around the border of it to match the sticker.
I wanted another fun element to the page, and since there were a lot of bright colors in the photos I made a “rainbow ladder”. I used a large strip of white cardstock. I then cut thin strips of solid colored cardstock and attached them to the white. I added a thin blue ribbon down the center of my ‘rainbow’. I then used my Crop-O-Dile to attach some large eyelets to the page. I had to use a hand punch to punch the circles, because my Crop-O-Dile can’t reach that far into the paper. I used the same color eyelets as I did strips of paper, and just moved them all down one to have them contrast with the paper.
This rainbow ladder is one of my favorite hand made embellishments I have made. I think it turned out really cute and added just the right touch to my page!
