Road Trip Game Printables. Use these free printable road trip activities to keep the kids busy in the car. They include a license plate game and a road trip scavenger hunt.
We are getting ready to go on our big annual camping trip, which we take every year for Memorial Day weekend. It is a lot of food, fun, and friends!
We look forward to it every year, although I don’t always look forward to the car ride with the kids. Although it is only about a 2 1/2-hour drive, the kids can quickly get bored and whiny.
I decided to create a road trip binder for each of the kids. I will add to these over time so the kids don’t get bored. I have two free printables to share with you today as I have more time.

License Plate Game Printable
I am sure some of you played this game as a kid—the “License Plate Game.”
In this game, you try to find a license plate from each state. Your child can mark off each plate as he or she sees it. I created this printable using images I found on The US50.

Road Trip Scavenger Hunt Printable
Next, I created a road trip scavenger hunt. You could also adapt this for use in bingo.
My kids are little, so searching for each item on the sheet will definitely keep them busy.
This one is somewhat specific to Arizona since we live there. The images are from the Manual of Traffic Signs by Richard C. Moeur.
