Disclosure: I was given product to try from Simple as That, but as always I only recommend products I use and love. All opinions are my own.
It has taken me a little while, but I am finally doing another post for Project Life week. One thing I love about Project Life, is there are designers that create additional journaling cards and layouts for you to use with Project Life. I received the amazing Summer Lovin’ digi kit from the Simple as That Digital Shop. Oh my cuteness!
The light, airy colors are perfect for summer pages! (The whole time I was working on these pages, I had the song “Summer Nights” from Grease running through my head!)
I was excited to make another layout for our family album. Every year we take several camping trips. We usually just go out in the woods and do dry camping, but we have found a campsite we really love and try to make it there at least once a summer.
We get to fish, swim in the river, hike and the place we stay has a pool. It is such a fun place to take the kids.
For the title card, I used Photoshop to add text to the journaling card and had it printed with my photos. I added one of the photo overlays to the top yellow part of the journaling card.
The other journaling cards I printed out on my printer at home.
I used two of the photo overlays to add to my pictures. They are a fun addition to add a little something extra to the page without having to get out the glue and all my usual scrapbook supplies.
I plan to go back and round off the corners of everything, but of course my round corner punch broke on my last Project Life page!
You definitely want to check out more about Rebecca Cooper’s fun blog and digital shop. I have followed along with her blog for a long time. Her pictures are gorgeous and she has such great ideas! She did a post all about her Summer Lovin’ digi kit, too!
