This month I received two super fun downloads from Life-n-Reflection called Elementary Classroom. You can download these for free here: Elementary Classroom Printables
As you may know, I have been doing a lot of Project Life layouts recently. The minute I saw these, I knew they would be perfect to adapt to a Project Life page about my son’s first day of school.
I had the Elementary Sign and the Monday mini printed out on photo paper from Walgreen’s. Next time, I would print the Elementary sign myself so not as much of the outside edge was cut off.
The ‘Mon’ mini was perfect as well. I added some text with my son’s school and teacher info in Photoshop and had this printed on 4 x 6 photo paper as well!
The other three cards you see in the layout are from the Project Life kit I received called Dear Lizzy 5th and Frolic. They coordinated perfectly with the items I downloaded from Life-n-Reflection. Every year at the beginning of the school year, I ask my son a few questions about some of his favorite things and record them. It is fun looking back over the last few years to see how he has changed (or even stayed the same!).
I have said it before and I will say it again. I am loving Project Life! The layouts come together so quickly and you can adapt other products to work right along with your kits to make them even more personalized.

What a fun and creative Project Life Page! I love the questions you ask each year – he’ll want to read those too someday!!
