My son had a Minecraft party for his birthday many years ago. For party favors, we made Minecraft Perler bead keychains. They were a big hit at the party.

Today, I am sharing eight more Perler bead patterns you can use to make keychains or just for fun.

How to Make Minecraft Perler Beads

• Perler Beads*, various colors
• Small Square Pegboard
• Perler Bead Patterns (see below)
• Iron and Ironing Board

* Perler Beads can also be called Pyssla Beads

Create a Perler Bead Pattern

Start by printing the Minecraft Perler bead patterns shared at the end of this post. You can also pull up the PDF on your computer or phone to refer to as you work. 

These print on an 8 1/2″ x 11″ paper. You could place these in a sheet protector in a binder to create a fun Perler Bead pattern book.

Use the small square pegboard to create each of the designs.

Next, follow the pattern to create your design on the pegboard.

Iron the Design

Follow the instructions that come with your beads to iron them together. For mine, you place the pegboard on your ironing board or mat.

Place ironing paper over the pegboard. In a circular motion, begin to iron the project.

The beads should still have open centers. Fusing the beads should take about 10 seconds. Let the design cool.

Remove the paper. Flip the project over and repeat the fusing process on the opposite side. Let cool completely.

Note: Fusing the design should be done by an adult.
