You all know we are huge LEGO fans in our house! My kids both love everything LEGO. I am thrilled there are now LEGO Friends for my daughter to play with. We have even watched countless hours of Ninjago videos on the LEGO website to master our spinning techniques! When I heard about making your own LEGO Minifigure holiday card, I knew right away we would have to try it out. It was really fun to create our own little LEGO family.
You are first welcomed with instructions on how to start creating your family. You can add people and even your pets! Once you choose to add a family member, you can name them, and then customize how they look.
You get to choose their color, face, hat, torso and legs. It is really fun to choose ‘randomize outfit’. You just never know what you are going to get.
The kids got in on the action to choose how each of their LEGO Minifigures looked. So, we ended up with a ninja and a skier in our holiday card. I think the ski attire was chosen by my daughter solely on the fact that it was purple.
Once you are done adding all the family members, you can choose the background scene behind your LEGO family as well as the holiday greeting you would like to have displayed. There were a lot of cute options – a desert scene (perfect for us Arizona folks), a snowy scene, a log cabin, the beach and so many more. Then, you click to share your card. Our card got ambushed by a yeti! Ha!
LEGO makes it really easy to share to your favorite social media outlet. You can also download your card or copy the link. Head over to the website and create a LEGO Minifigure Family of your own. I would love for you to post the link here in the comments after you do!

I love it that Legos are so timeless. They never go out of style and even appeal to big kids. So why not a custom Christmas card, right? Very cool idea! :) Merry Christmas to you!! XO
