LEGO Batman Party Preview. Get a sneak peek at all the details of the LEGO Batman party planning – capes, masks, invitations, games and more!
This week I am in go, go, go party planning mode! But, I didn’t want to leave you completely hanging with no idea of what I have been working on.
So, this post will be big on pictures and small on words. Here is a little sneak peek of some of the LEGO Batman party awesomeness.
Super Hero Action Word Signs
I made a bunch of action word bubble signs to display as decorations. This project involved my Cricut and a ton of glue!

Batman Party Cups
Next, I fancied up some regular plastic cups. I created a bat-shaped template on my computer. Then, I printed it out on heavy cardstock and used that to trace the pattern onto black cardstock.
Then it was time to cut, cut, cut! Glue the bat shape directly onto the cup. It was a good project to do while catching up on my shows.

DIY Super Hero Capes
I have also been busy sewing superhero capes for each of the kids. I made them using two different techniques. Both methods are easy and fast.

Batman Masks
Last, I wanted to share with you the bat masks that will go with the capes for the kids.

DIY Bean Bags
In case you missed it, check out how I made superhero bean bags for a special bean bag toss game.

LEGO Batman Invitations
And don’t forget about invitations! I made these on the computer and had them printed at my local photo printing place.

I will be sharing the entire party, plus some cool tutorials next week. But for now . . . Holy, time is running out, Batman – the party is in two days!

Hi! What glue did you use to glue the batman card stock cutouts to the plastic cup?
Thanks :)

Maureen,
I actually just used regular Elmer’s school glue. Since the cups were getting thrown out after the party I didn’t worry about them adhering for a long time. You could also use Mod Podge to attach them.
