Last month we were able to review Just Dance 4. When I was contacted about possibly reviewing Just Dance Disney Party, I knew I had to apply! So far, we have loved all the Just Dance games and this one is no exception.
Just Dance Disney Party is definitely geared towards kids. The songs are all from different Disney movies and shows that your kids are probably very familiar with. One of our new favorites is the “Squirrel in my Pants” song from the show Phineas and Ferb. It is such a silly song and the dance is so fun! The dances are all very kid friendly.
My daughter is almost 3 and she doesn’t quite like to play with the remote yet, but even she got hooked on dancing and singing to some of her favorite songs. The game includes two different songs from the movie, “Tangled”. My daughter had to get all fancied up to participate. This included a crown, bracelet, and her “fancy shoes”!
Another great feature of Just Dance Disney Party are the different modes of play. You can do a regular dance, freeze and shake mode, balloon pop and team high score. In the balloon pop mode you have to watch for the balloon to pop and then shake your remote to catch the stars as they fall. It is actually a little tricky to watch the dance moves and follow along, while also watching the balloon, anticipating when it will pop!
This is a great game to get the kids up and moving. Since we are stuck inside a lot during the colder winter months, I am always looking for ways to keep the kids active and provide a way for them to blow off some steam without destroying the house. We have been lucky with our weather, but we are expecting snow soon and I am sure we will be playing a lot more of this game!
You can purchase Just Dance Disney Party from Amazon.com and ToysRUs.com.
Disclosure: I was provided with a copy of Just Dance Disney Party to review. All opinions are 100% my own. I only try to share products that I think my readers will be interested in.
