I originally saw the idea for the design at Andrea Steed‘s blog.
I used my My Memories Suite software to create a digital file. (I have seen projects like these done in Photoshop, but honestly I am still a little scared of that program.) The above image took me about 10 minutes to make with my scrapbooking software.
I used the Modern No. 20 font for the numbers. I added the blue background paper and some white flourishes to dress it up a bit on the top and bottom. They are just mirror images of each other. I added some butterflies to the background because I love them and they are very significant to me. The little heart was added to the ‘zero’ in the middle row of numbers.
I had it printed out at Walgreens as an 8 x 10 and it is now framed in my entryway.
I only have one more element to add to my gallery wall and then I will be able to share it with all of you. I can’t wait!
* If you are interested in purchasing My Memories Suite v2 Software for yourself, you can still get $10 off the purchase price, plus a $10 coupon code to use in the My Memories store. (A $20 value!) Just use coupon code STMMMS30543 at checkout. {Copy and paste the code to avoid typos} *

Came over from Sugar Bee Crafts…I love your important date sign. I too need a way to draw in a little more color without using anymore photos! Great idea! :)
