Today, I am sharing everything about the Munbyn RealWriter 130B Bluetooth label printer. Thermal printers are an excellent investment for anyone who plans parties, organizes, makes crafts, or owns a small business, especially those who ship products.
Why Choose a Munbyn Bluetooth Label Printer?
Unlike a traditional printer, thermal printers don’t use ink or toner. Instead, a heated print head heats thermal paper coated with a material that turns black when heated, creating the image.
This means that once you purchase your printer, you only have to buy sticker paper to print on. You never have to buy ink, which is a huge savings!
The ink prints at high resolution, ensuring every sticker label is clear and crisp. The printer is also compact, so it doesn’t take up too much space in your work area.
The Munbyn Bluetooth Label Printer also saves time. It prints lightning-fast (150mm/s, one label per second). Each label is printed onto sticker paper, and the backing is perforated, so it is easy to print, tear, and stick, making packaging even faster.
The labels come in many shapes and sizes: 2″x 2″, 2.25″x 1.25″, 3″x 3″, 4″x6″ shipping labels, and even custom labels.
This printer makes customizing gift packages for holidays and parties easy.
How to Print Labels
The printer has Bluetooth and USB capabilities, so you can print using your computer or phone.
Next, I will walk you through printing your labels step by step. Once you take your printer out of the box, follow the instructions that came with it.
On a Desktop with Windows
Start by making sure the printer is off. Then plug in the printer. Attach the USB cord to both the printer and your computer. Turn on the printer.
Use the enclosed USB flash drive to install the driver. Once installed, you should see your Munbyn printer in the drop-down menu when printing a label.
On Android/Apple
Scan the QR code included in the User Manual to download the Munbyn Print App in Google Play (or the App Store). With the printer plugged in and turned on, select the printer on the home screen to connect to Bluetooth.
Select the model, and it should automatically connect. If prompted for a PIN, use code “0000.”
Now, you can create labels right within the app and download images you design yourself.
How to Create a Label in the Munbyn App
To create a label, click the orange + button that says + Create.
Next, choose the label you will be printing on. I am using the rainbow sticker labels. Then, click “Use Label to Create.”
Design your label using included fonts, icons, illustrations, borders, barcodes, QR codes, and more.
You can also use one of the more than 1,000 pre-designed templates included in the app.
To do this, on the home screen, click on Template at the bottom of the screen. Then, you can search by topic or size.
Once you have created your label, click Print at the bottom of the screen. Select the quantity you need on the next screen and then click Print.
How to Make Potion Bottles
Finally, I will walk you through making magical Halloween potion bottles with the Munbyn Bluetooth label printer.
Supplies:
- Munbyn Bluetooth Label Printer
- Rainbow Sticker Labels
- 4″x6″ Shipping Labels
- Various Potion Bottles
- Potion Graphics
I created my images in Canva. Open Canva. Click Create a Design.
Choose a custom size and type in the size of the label you are using. Mine are 2.3″x 2.3″.
Upload the images you want to use. I found my images at Creative Fabrica by searching “potions.”
Then, add each image to a square.
Resize the potion label to fit on your particular bottle. Center the image to ensure that the image prints in the center of the scallop rainbow sticker.
If you will use more than one image, click + Add Page at the bottom.
Add as many images as you want, then save the file as a PDF. You can now upload your PDF to the app.
On the home screen, click Files&Import. Choose PDF, and then Import.
Then, click the file you just imported, then Preview and Print. Select your label size. In this case, I am using 58x58mm labels. Then click Print.
Once the bottle labels are printed, cut around them with scissors. Peel the backing from the sticker and place it on the small glass bottles.
Repeat this process for the larger 4″x 6″ labels. I could fit two potion labels on one 4″x 6″ sticker for the cork-topped bottles.
Attach the labels to the bottles and fill them with your “potions.” I used water tinted with food coloring, glitter, and cut-out bat wings.
Enjoy your ghostly potion display!
