Gold and Silver Cupcake Toppers. Use the Clearly Posh collection from We R Memory Keepers along with Bazzill mylar sheets to create these festive toppers.
I am going to show you how to create these fun cupcake toppers you can easily customize for any party occasion. These cupcake toppers will give you a reason to celebrate anytime!
I chose the word “celebrate” but you could easily use numbers from the Thickers sheets to celebrate a particular birthday, you could spell out a name, or any party themed word.

Supplies needed:
- Scallop Punch
- Clearly Posh Acetate Sheets
- Thickers Chipboard Thickers
- Bazzill Mylar Cardstock, Gold
- Bazzill Mylar Cardstock, Silver
- Lollipop Sticks
- This to That Double-Sided Super Sticky Red Tape
To start creating these cupcake toppers, use a 2-inch scalloped circle punch to create cut outs of acetate sheets from the Clearly Posh collection. I used the confetti dots with gold foil and the confetti dots with silver foil. I love the acetate sheets. They are clear with a pattern on them, so they work perfectly for overlays.
I added black Thickers chipboard letter stickers to the top of my punch outs, alternating the gold foil and silver foil for every other letter to spell out ‘CELEBRATE’. You could spell out any word you want on your cupcake toppers.
I then cut out more scallop circles using my punch from mylar gold and silver cardstock sheets. These mylar sheets are amazing. They are either gold or silver on both sides of the sheet. I have seen some gold cardstock that is gold on one side and silver on the other.
I applied double-sided red tape to the top edge of a lollipop stick for each letter.
Peel off the red backing and attach the stick to the back of the acetate sheet and the front of the mylar sheet.
Insert the cupcake toppers into your cupcakes and you are ready to celebrate! You can change up the look of these toppers really easily by changing the color or style of the Thickers letters, or even the background color of the Mylar sheet.
