My daughter had a Frozen birthday party this year. We always give a little treat bag to each of the kids that attends to say thank you for coming and celebrating with us. I saw an idea for a marshmallow Olaf on One Creative Mommy while browsing Pinterest. I thought this would make a perfect Frozen treat bag idea.

These are a cinch to put together. I purchased the Frozen cartridge for my Cricut Explore™. On it was a pre-drawn saying – “Do you want to build a snowman?”. There was a also an image of Olaf himself. Using a rectangle shape, I created a printable treat topper. Using the new print then cut feature I was able to print and cut these out in no time!

Ingredients needed:

  • Giant campfire marshmallows
  • Regular marshmallows
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Snow caps
  • Pretzel sticks
  • Orange slice candies

I will first show you the finished snowman so you can see what you are putting into each bag. I think he is pretty cute!

You will cut the giant marshmallow in half lengthwise. The easiest way to do this is to use kitchen scissors rather than a knife. The knife mostly just smooshes the marshmallow. If the cut edges are too sticky, you can dip them in a little bit of cornstarch, but I didn’t worry about it.

You will also cut your orange slices. The great thing is they have little grooves that work out perfectly to create a carrot nose shape.

For each treat bag you will use:

  • Bag topper
  • Cellophane bag
  • Body
    • 1/2 large marshmallow
    • 2 regular marshmallows
  • Feet
    • 2 mini marshmallows
  • Nose
    • 1/5 orange slice candy
  • Arms
    • 2 pretzel sticks
  • Buttons
    • 3 snow caps

Place all the above items in a small cellophane treat bag. Fold your treat bag topper in half. Place the treat bag topper over the cellophane at the top and staple shut.
