Floral Foam Pumpkin. Create your own floral foam pumpkin you can use in your fall decorating. Perfect for a centerpiece or table decoration.
Are you getting ready for Thanksgiving? We host Thanksgiving every year, and I love to create a beautiful table to serve dinner.
I saw a beautiful live pumpkin with real flowers placed all around the middle. I wanted to recreate it, but with a foam pumpkin and faux flowers so I could reuse it from year to year.

How to Make a Floral Foam Pumpkin
I purchased the foam pumpkin and floral stems at Hobby Lobby, but you can find these at most craft stores.
Take your floral picks and remove the flowers from the stems.
I wanted to add a ring of flowers around the middle of my pumpkin.
To do this, I started by drilling a small hole into the foam pumpkin. You want your drill bit to be the same size as the little plastic piece on the back of the flowers.
After drilling a hole, use a dab of hot glue on the back of the flower to attach it to the pumpkin. You can also add glue directly to the foam pumpkin if that is easier for the smaller flowers.
Continue this process until you have added flowers around the whole pumpkin.
This floral foam pumpkin will be a great accent for my fall decor and Thanksgiving table for years.
