Felt PEEPS® Bunny Plush. Using my free printable tutorial, create these adorable little felt plush PEEPS® bunnies. They are the perfect addition to any Easter basket.
Today, I will share how to create these adorable little felt PEEPS® bunny plush characters. They would be perfect for an Easter basket.
How to Make a Felt PEEPS® Bunny Plush
Supplies:
Cut out the Bunny Shapes from Felt
Start by printing the free printable PEEPS® bunny pattern (download below).
Cut out around the bunny to use as a template for tracing onto the felt.
Trace the bunny onto one layer of felt.
Hold two pieces of felt together and cut around your tracing.
Stitch Bunnies
To make the face of the PEEPS® bunny, use embroidery floss to create three French knots. Start by tying a knot in your thread and coming up through the back of the felt with your floss.
Wrap around the needle three times and then go back down through your felt at the same spot you came up. This will create a little knot.
Do this three times to create the eyes and nose of the bunny.
Stuff Bunny
Use your hot glue gun to attach the two layers of felt together. Leave an opening at the bottom.
Note: If you don’t want to use hot glue, you could also sew around the edges of the bunnies using a blanket stitch.
Add your stuffing to the bunny. You can use the end of a paintbrush or chopstick to help push the stuffing up to the top of the bunny.
Glue the opening at the bottom of your bunny using your hot glue gun.
These little critters turned out so cute! My daughter has already claimed them to keep.
