It is the final day of Craft Lightning Felt Edition. I hope you have been inspired as I have to create with felt. It is inexpensive and readily available at any craft store (or even Walmart). Today I am going to share how to create these adorable little felt PEEPS® bunny plush characters. These would be perfect to put in an Easter basket.

Supplies:
Start by printing out this free printable PEEPS® bunny pattern.

Cut out around the bunny so you can use it as a template for tracing onto the felt.
Trace the bunny onto one layer of felt.
Hold two pieces of felt together and cut around your tracing.
Use embroidery floss to create three french knots to make the face of the PEEPS® bunny. Start by tying a knot in your thread and come up through the back of the felt with your floss.
Wrap around the needle three times and then go back down through your felt at the same spot you came up. This will create a little knot.
Do this three times to create the eyes and nose of the bunny.
Use your hot glue gun to attach the two layers of felt together. Leave an opening at the bottom.
Add your stuffing into the bunny. You can use the end of a paintbrush or chopstick to help you push the stuffing up to the top of the bunny.
Glue the opening at the bottom of your bunny using your hot glue gun.
These little critters turned out so cute! My daughter has already claimed them to keep.
