For the past couple of years we have done a Christmas book countdown. I wrap twenty four Christmas, holiday and winter themed books for the kids to open each night of December leading up to Christmas. Throughout the year, we normally do story time every night before bed. This makes it a little more fun because the kids are able to each open a present every other night.
I wrapped the books in two different types of wrapping paper, alternating even and odd days. To create the tags, I punched a circle into green paper and used number stickers to label each book to the corresponding day. I then used an adhesive dot to attach the tag to the wrapped book.
Today I am sharing our list of our favorite Christmas and holiday books for kids. Some of them have Christmas themes and others are general books about winter.

I Spy! I didn’t know they had a Christmas version! That would be fun even as an adult to get, ha! :D
