Fall Grapevine Wreath. Learn how to make a beautiful harvest wreath for your front door for autumn.
I finally pulled out the fall decorations. Yesterday was the first day of fall, after all. I pulled out the fall wreath I had hung on my door for years and realized it was in desperate need of a re-do.
So today, I am going to show you how I made a new grapevine wreath for fall.
You can see the old wreath below. The flowers, leaves, and pumpkins were faded. And to be honest, I no longer loved the design of the wreath.
I made this wreath around 10 years ago. It has held up well, but it was time for something new! Don’t be afraid to remake something if you no longer like it. You can also use this same idea when shopping in thrift stores.
Supplies:
I started by pulling all the old flowers and decorations off the wreath form.
Using some sparkly pumpkin ribbon I had on hand, I made a bow. I hot-glued it onto the wreath form.
I bought some new pumpkins and gourds from Dollar Tree, but everything else I had on hand in my craft supplies. Then, I just started playing around with the floral elements. You can find floral picks at any craft store and Dollar Tree.
I like to lay everything out first before I glue anything down. Once I had everything laid out how I wanted, I used hot glue to attach everything. You can also use floral wire to attach your stems.
