Today I am participating in a fun Expressionery Blog Hop! We each tried out some Expressionery.com stationery in the fun new lines by Laura Kelly Designs.
I chose the super cute Me and My Peeps stationary. I was sent a set of note card and envelopes, two note pads and return address labels.

The note cards and envelopes come in a protective plastic sleeve that is perfect for keeping your cards safe in your purse or wherever you store your stationery.
Aren’t the Me and My Peeps fun? You can even include your pets if you want. There are a ton of designs to choose from that you can customize.
This year, I have written several times about how I am trying to do better about staying in touch with family and friends as well as getting my thank you notes out on time. I think it is extremely important to send thank you notes any time you receive a gift. My kids are required to write a thank you for any gift they receive – a tradition I hope they continue when they leave home.
One thing I loved about my stationery I received was this thank you card guide from Expressionery. It gives many helpful examples of what to write for different types of thank you notes. This will be especially helpful when teaching my kids how to write them.
Even though ‘snail mail’ is becoming a thing of the past, I love getting happy mail in the mailbox mixed in with my bills and junk mail. It can totally make my day. I hope to spread a little love to my family and friends, as well!
I wrote a thank you to my friend for my cute birthday gift you may have seen on Instagram.
My daughter also received a special present from my brother and his family. Even though she cannot write the note herself yet, she is great at drawing pictures. I wrote a message on the note card and she drew a picture on one of the note pad papers.
I love that everything coordinates. I love anything stationery. Having matching cards, paper and address labels makes me happy. (I am a little nerdy about it!)
These little Me and My Peeps were so cute. I knew I could make something fun with some of the notepad paper. You all know I love washi tape as well. So, I thought I would combine the two into one of my signature washi tape banners.
To create your banner you will need:
- Me and My Peeps Notepad
- Washi tape in assorted colors/patterns
- Baker’s Twine
- Scissors
- Paper trimmer (optional)
- Glue (optional)
Start by cutting out each of your Peeps. I used my paper trimmer to make sure I was cutting straight lines.
Alternate between adding washi tape and your Me and My Peep on the twine.
I used a small piece of coordinating washi tape to attach my Peeps to the twine. You could also attach them to the twine with glue.
I hung our little family banner on my bulletin board in my command center.
