Peeps are a traditional Easter candy. You can now get the chick or bunny-shaped ones in many colors and flavors.

Today, I will share with you cute Easter treat ideas, including using Peeps to make a s’mores treat bag.

How to Make an Easter S’mores Treat Bag

These are easy to assemble and fun for an egg hunt, Easter basket, or class party.

Supplies:

• Easter Peeps
• Graham Crackers
• Small Hershey Chocolate Bars
• Clear Gift Bags
• Ribbon or Twine
• Easter S’mores Gift Tag Printable (see below)
• White Cardstock

You will need two graham cracker halves or a whole graham cracker, one Peeps marshmallow, and one fun-size Hershey chocolate bar to package each s’more.

Place all three items in a clear cellophane gift bag.

I found two sizes at Dollar Tree, which worked great for this project. I trimmed the tops of the larger bags with scissors to make them fit the treats better. For the smaller bags, I punched a hole in the top of the bag to attach the tag.

Print out the free printable tag found below on heavy white cardstock. Then, use a paper trimmer or scissors to cut out each tag. The printable includes six tags per page.

Punch a hole in the top of the tag, thread it with twine or ribbon, and attach it to the filled treat bag.

That’s it! So easy peasy.

How to Cook S’mores at Home

If you don’t have a campfire, you can make s’mores at home in two other ways.

1. Microwave: Assemble the s’more, leaving off the top graham cracker. Microwave on high power for 15-30 seconds. Top with the remaining graham cracker half and serve.
2. Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°. Lay one half of a graham cracker on a cookie sheet. Top with chocolate and a marshmallow. Bake until marshmallows are puffed and golden brown, about 3 to 5 minutes. Top with the remaining graham cracker half.
