How to Make a Star Deco Mesh Wreath
This wreath is simple but does take some time to make. So grab your favorite show to binge, and let’s get started.
Supplies:
- Star Wreath Form
- Deco Mesh (Red, White, and Blue)
- Rotary Cutter and Mat or Scissors
You will need two rolls of each red, white, and blue deco mesh. The kind I got has these little white dots, which I think fit the theme perfectly. However, note that it will make a mess while you tie the mesh strips onto the wreath.
Start by cutting the deco mesh into 7″ strips. Then, cut those strips in half. Since the deco mesh is 6″ wide, you will end up with 7″ x 3″ strips of deco mesh.
Start tying the strips of deco mesh to the wire on the wreath.
Below, you can see approximately how many strips I tied onto each wire piece.
The star wreath has ten separate sections. I alternated white and red strips for seven of the sections.

Then, I cut the blue deco mesh like the red at white, so each strip was 7″ x 3″. Tie the blue strips on the remaining three sections of the wreath.
That’s it! You now have a patriotic wreath to display on the 4th of July, Memorial Day, or Labor Day.
