Welcome to day 20 of the ‘31 Days of Deep Cleaning Your Home‘ series!
Today’s task is to wash your shower curtains and liners.
Start by taking down all your shower curtains and liners. Follow manufacturer recommendations for washing. If you no longer have the tags on your curtains, the gentle cycle with cold water is the best setting to use. Use a low setting to dry. Remove from the dryer right when they are done and you shouldn’t have to iron them!
You can also wash the liners in the washing machine. Use warm water, and the gentle cycle. Add about a cup of vinegar to the wash cycle to remove any hard water stains you have. When washing the plastic liner, place one or two bath towels in with the liners. This will help to agitate and clean the liners. Do not place the liner in the dryer, just hang it right back up in the shower. Fully close the curtains to allow them to dry all the way.
