For my friend’s baby shower that I hosted, I hand-made the enchanted forest baby shower invitations. I think they turned out super cute!

How to Make Enchanted Forest Baby Shower Invitations
Supplies:
- Blank Invitations and Envelopes
- Blue Sky Patterned Paper
- Textured Cardstock – Green, Brown, Mint
- Fiskars Grass Punch
- Neutrals Cardstock
- Vellum
- Super Sticky Red Tape
- Light Blue Ribbon
- Cricut Machine
Create Card Base
To make the outside of the invitation, I cut blue sky paper to fit the top 2/3 of the card using my paper trimmer.
Then, I cut a piece of green textured cardstock to fit the bottom 1/3 of the card and used my Fiskars grass punch to cut out the grass design.
Make Animals Using Cricut
The deer and the owl were cut using my Cricut and the Create a Critter cartridge*. This has got to be one of my favorite cartridges. The critters are so cute!
* Search Create a Critter under Image Sets in Cricut Design Space.
For the owl, I used mint textured card stock, light tan card stock, brown card stock, and light brown card stock.
For the deer, I used brown textured card stock, light tan card stock, and black card stock.

Print Out Saying on Vellum
I printed the saying onto vellum, cut it out, and attached it with super sticky red tape.
I made a small bow with light blue ribbon and used more red tape to attach the bow to the vellum. This also worked to hide the piece of tape I used to attach the vellum to the card. You could also use a glue gun to attach the vellum and ribbon to the card.
Printer Recommendation
My favorite printer for printing my free printables is the HP Envy Inkjet Printer with HP Instant Ink. I have used these printers for years and always get great results.

Add Party Invitation Details to Inside of Card
On the inside, I was originally planning on printing the baby shower invitation information directly to the blank card, but my old printer would jam every time I would feed one through.
So, I improvised and printed out the details on plain white card stock and adhered it to the inside of the card.
Cricut Design Space File
I recreated this invitation in Cricut Design Space so you can use your Cricut machine to cut out every part of the invitation, including the saying. You would still use vellum, but use Cricut pens to write it instead of print it out.

Free Printable Baby Shower Sayings
If you don’t want to use the drawing feature with your Cricut machine, you can use this free printable baby shower sayings PDF file. Simply print on vellum, cut out with scissors or a paper trimmer, and attach to the invitation.
The font I used is Charming Provence.
