As we get ready for a new year, I wanted to share a new 2018 calendar with you. I went in a different direction this year to create a calendar with a gorgeous floral design rather than the plain jane one I have offered the last few years. It coordinates beautifully with the rest of the free printables I have available for you for your homemaking binder.

You can print this calendar to use in your homemaking binder, hang it on the refrigerator, put in your planner, or on your command center wall.

I get asked a lot about what kind of printer I use. My old printer I had a few years ago didn’t work well at all. It jammed a lot, was not wireless, and used a TON of ink! So, two years ago for Christmas, my husband surprised me with a new printer. It is an HP Envy 7640 wireless all-in-one printer. I love that it is wireless, so I can print from my laptop, iPad, or even my phone. We have it plugged in a central location in our home so everyone can use it.
It also has a scanning feature that works really well to help me keep my paper clutter down. It will send the scan right to my laptop as a pdf or jpeg file.
One of the best features of the newer HP printers is that you can sign up for Instant Ink. You choose how many pages you need to print per month, and HP automatically sends you ink whenever you are running low for a low monthly fee. I have always received my cartridges well in advance of running out. No more late night trips to the office supply store. And since all pages are counted equally towards your plan, you can print all the color prints and photos you want. The cartridges I have received have all lasted a long time.
You can see how clear and bright the colors are in this image of the calendar. I love how there are no print lines or streaking when it prints.

The printer can print a regular print. For this calendar, I opened the pdf and chose fit to page to fill the entire 8.5″ x 11″ page. But you can also choose to have it print borderless. This allows you to not have to trim off any excess around your page. You can see the difference below.

This year I have been a part of the HP Smart Moms panel. It has been a lot of fun to see behind the scenes of how HP creates new products. When I joined the panel they sent me a brand new printer. And the funny thing is that it is the exact printer my husband bought me for Christmas. Since I definitely don’t need two of the exact same printers, I thought it would be fun to give away the extra to one of my readers.

Hi Laura,
I was just wondering if the pdf for the 2018 calendar was only supposed to have up to June ?? The pdf only has 6 months on it. Was that your intentions? If so ok, but if not it is missing July-December.. Thanks for all you share with us!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!! ans HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Edith,
So sorry about that. I think the original file may have been too large and it only uploaded part of it. Here is the new, corrected link to download the full calendar: https://www.laurascraftylife.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/2018-Calendar-LCL.pdf.
Merry Christmas!
