Washi Tape Bookmarks. Use up some of your cutest washi tape stash to make these easy paperclip bookmarks.
You all know I have professed my love for washi tape multiple times. Today’s project is a quick and easy idea that anyone can do using my favorite craft supply!
We can never seem to find bookmarks in our house. My son and I are both avid readers, so I find myself needing a quick, easy solution for bookmarks quite often.
Washi Tape Paperclip Bookmarks
Supplies needed:
- Washi tape
- Scissors
- Paperclip
I purchase most of my washi tape from Pick Your Plum (affiliate link). They have deals on it several times a month and the price is great.
Start by cutting a strip of washi tape.
Insert your strip of washi tape into the end of the paper clip. Be sure to use the end that doesn’t clip to the page or you will end up having to re-do it.
Flatten out one end of the washi tape.
Fold the washi tape over on itself.
Trim off excess tape and cut a ‘v’ shaped notch in the end if you like!
Go forth and make bookmarks. These make great gifts.
I made about 50 of them and added them to my business cards in a glassine envelope for my cards for Snap! They didn’t take me long, they were inexpensive and helped connect me with my blog since I talk about washi tape all the time!
