Snowflake Gift Jar. Create a fun and adorable snowflake gift jar in under 15 minutes to use in your holiday gift giving!
Sometimes I want to create a gift that it is inexpensive but at the same time cute and thoughtful. Rather than giving someone a package of candy, for example, I would much rather create a cute package to gift it to them in. And that is exactly what I have created today.

I saw these adorable jars at Target (of course) that had snowflakes and stars on them. The Target jars were the inspiration for my jars. I knew I could create a similar effect using my Cricut and some vinyl.
Supplies needed:
- Glass jar
- Cricut Explore
- Metallic vinyl
This project really is so simple and easy. Be sure to clean your jar really well first. I found my jar for only a few dollars in the craft section at Walmart. I have also seen similar jars at Dollar Tree in the glassware section.
Cut out snowflake shapes using your Cricut. Get the snowflake gift jar design.
Note: If you don’t have a Cricut, you could also create this craft using vinyl and a snowflake punch or even hand drawing on the snowflakes with a gold paint pen.
Normally when transferring vinyl to a surface you would use transfer tape. But I wanted a random pattern of snowflakes. So, starting with the biggest snowflakes, I simply peeled them off the sheet and placed them on my jar by hand.

I then filled in the empty spaces with smaller and smaller snowflake shapes.

Fill your jar with a special treat, tie on some twine and a gift card, and you have a thoughtful, beautifully wrapped gift to give. I think this would make the perfect teacher gift!
