Are your kiddos still loving the Trolls movie as much as we are? I thought it was such a cute movie. We really enjoyed singing and dancing along! We love Poppy from the movie, and the moment I saw her adorable headband I knew I wanted to create one for my daughter. It turned out to be a really easy project!

To start with, print out this Poppy Headband Template on heavy white cardstock. You can also just freehand the flowers and leaves if you would like.

Cut out the pieces from the cardstock and use them as templates to trace on your felt with a Sharpie marker. You will need two flowers with three petals and one flower with four petals from the blue felt.
Then, cut out nine leaves from the green felt.
Use your hot glue gun to attach three leaves to the back side of each blue felt flower.
Take the green elastic and measure around your child’s head where you want the headband to go. Cut it. Then, tie a knot at the end of the elastic.
Add the flowers to the headband with your hot glue gun.
It turned out even cuter than I had hoped.
Helpful tip: I used the 2mm thicker felt from Hobby Lobby, so the flowers would not be so floppy on the headband.
