Letter to Santa and a Printable

One of our advent calendar activities was to write a letter to Santa. I thought this would be fun since this is the first year my son can really write all of the alphabet by himself. I had to help him with the spelling, but I was so proud of him for writing it out himself. I knew he wouldn't be able to write an entire letter so I created a fill in form that he could write in the important parts himself.

And I am offering this printable Letter to Santa for you to use with your child!

Letter to Santa
My son worked really hard to write his letter.

Here is his finished letter.

Our local post office has a special mail box for Santa letters. My son was really excited to drop it off!

Does your child write a letter to Santa each year? I would love to see it!

** UPDATE **
I created some new versions of the printable letter to Santa for you to download: Printable Letters to Santa

  2. Hi Laura, what a delightful idea. I can just imagine the excitement the child feels when he/she is filling out the letter. We do have boxes around town to receive mail to Santa and apparently the kiddies do get a reply. Thanks for sharing. I have recently found your blog and am now following you, and will visit often. Please stop by my blog and perhaps you would like to follow me also. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Chris

  4. What a lovely idea, my son's a little young at the moment but it's certainly something I will save and use in the future.
